Bachelor of Science in Nursing
West Coast University (WCU) introduces a new era in Nursing Education with the launch of an innovative, accelerated program that puts you on the fast track to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). In just 39 months, and with classes starting every 20 weeks, WCU's year-round semester system allows you to complete the BSN program (125 credits) – an equivalent credit load to the professional RN curriculum of four-year programs offered by state and private schools - without sacrificing the quality of your nursing education. While four-year nursing students are still in school, upon successful completion of the National Council Licensing Examination (NCLEX), you'll already have the potential to earn a professional nurse's salary and benefits!* And, as a Baccalaureate-prepared nurse, you'll experience a lifetime of respect and regard, along with the opportunity to practice in a variety of inpatient and outpatient healthcare settings.
Master of Science in Nursing
The Master of Science in Nursing program at West Coast University is designed to help nurses who have been in the workforce enhance their careers, as well as help those who have recently earned a BSN pursue higher education. The program will give you the foundation you need to earn Clinical Nurse Specialist certification or become a Certified Nurse Educator. You'll also be ready to pursue leadership positions at any number of healthcare facilities.
Classes will include Policy Organization and Financing of Healthcare, Biostatistics, Research Utilization, APRN Advanced Practice Physiology and Pathophysiology, and more. The program also includes an advanced clinical portion where you will put your new skills to use.
The Master of Science in Nursing program at West Coast University is designed to help you achieve your goals in an efficient and effective way. The program lasts three semesters, and is taught in a blended format. You'll attend classes on campus during the first and last week of each semester, and complete your other coursework online.
